With over 15 years of experience as a producer, engineer, music mentor, and artist manager, Joseph has collaborated with hundreds of artists across genres, earning a reputation for his sharp ear, strong leadership, and commitment to excellence.

Joseph Brooks is a producer, engineer, artist development executive, and founder of Red Velvet Studios recognized for delivering a refined, high-level creative experience tailored to discerning artists and emerging talent. With over 15 years of experience across music production, audio engineering, artist development, and management, he has worked with hundreds of artists across genres, earning a reputation for exceptional taste, meticulous attention to detail, and a deeply hands-on approach to artist growth.

A graduate of the renowned Musicians Institute Audio Engineering program — whose alumni include Anderson .Paak and Bishop Briggs — Joseph combines elite technical expertise with a sophisticated understanding of branding, positioning, and long-term career strategy. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating with Dean’s List honors and a 3.956 GPA.

Early in his career, Joseph was mentored by Grammy-winning producer !llmind, known for work with Drake, J. Cole, Beyoncé, and Kanye West — an experience that helped shape Joseph’s philosophy: intentional execution, uncompromising standards, and artist-centered development.

Since founding Red Velvet Studios in 2012, Joseph has cultivated a private creative environment where artistry, aesthetics, and professionalism intersect — offering artists not just production services, but strategic guidance, elevated branding, and a trusted long-term creative partnership.
