About the Internship

Red Velvet Studios is looking for creative, dependable, and motivated interns to join our team for the fall.

The primary focus of this internship will be assisting with the planning, promotion, content creation, and production of the Haunted Mansion Ball, our Halloween live music event taking place in Los Angeles this October.

Interns will also assist Red Velvet Studios’ artists and clients with content shoots, music videos, photography, social media content, live performances, and other creative projects throughout Los Angeles.

This is an in-person, hands-on internship. Applicants must be based in the Los Angeles area and able to travel to various filming locations, photography locations, studios, venues, events, and other production sites.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and production of the Haunted Mansion Ball event.
• Help prepare promotional and social media content for the event.
• Assist with artist coordination, event setup, behind-the-scenes coverage, and production support.
• Capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos at events, music videos, content shoots, photoshoots, studio sessions, and live performances.
• Film and photograph artists for social media and promotional content.
• Assist with short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Support music video and artist-content productions throughout Los Angeles.
• Help organize and prepare content for Red Velvet Studios and the artists and clients we represent.
• Support music marketing surrounding releases, performances, events, and artist projects.
• Work alongside our creative, marketing, production, event, and artist-management teams.
• Assist with other production-related responsibilities as needed.

Location and Transportation Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be based in Los Angeles or the surrounding area.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to travel to various filming, photography, studio, venue, and event locations throughout Los Angeles.
• Be comfortable working in different production environments.
• Be available for some evening or weekend events and shoots when scheduled.

• Currently enrolled in college or university, or recently graduated.
• Available throughout the fall internship term.
• Interested in music, live events, content creation, photography, videography, social media, marketing, or artist development.
• Comfortable working on location at music videos, photoshoots, content shoots, performances, and events.
• Dependable, professional, organized, creative, and eager to learn.
• Able to communicate clearly and work well as part of a team.
• Willing to assist wherever needed during events and productions.
• Photography, videography, editing, production, event, or social media experience is helpful but not required.

What Stands Out

• A strong interest in music, independent artists, live events, and visual content.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and short-form content.
• An eye for capturing engaging behind-the-scenes and promotional moments.
• Interest in photography, videography, editing, branding, event production, or digital marketing.
• A social media page or examples of previous creative work.
• An interest in Halloween, immersive events, fantasy-inspired concepts, or live music productions.

Internship Experience

This is an unpaid internship designed to provide hands-on experience in music, content creation, live events, marketing, and production.

Interns will have opportunities to build their skills and portfolios through real-world experience working on the Haunted Mansion Ball, artist content shoots, music videos, photoshoots, live performances, and other creative projects throughout Los Angeles.

College credit may be available. Students should speak with their academic advisor or internship coordinator regarding eligibility and requirements.

Selection Process

Selected applicants may be invited to participate in an interview, venue tour, live event, content shoot, music video production, photoshoot, or short creative project.

Applicants who demonstrate strong professionalism, creativity, reliability, communication, and teamwork may be invited to join the Fall Internship program.
