This Content Release & Media Waiver Policy outlines the terms under which Red Velvet Studios captures, records, uses, and publishes media involving guests, artists, performers, creators, attendees, clients, and all other participants (“you”).

This Policy applies to any Red Velvet Studios activity, including but not limited to:

• Studio interviews and recorded conversations
• Photography and video sessions
• Behind-the-scenes recording
• Events, live performances, shows, showcases, networking nights, “Meet the Music,” “Pass the Aux,” and future gatherings
• Any space, venue, or property where Red Velvet Studios is capturing content
• Any production, stream, or media created by Red Velvet Studios

By attending, participating, entering a recorded space, appearing in frame, or signing any Content Release Form, you agree to the terms below.

1. Voluntary Participation & Awareness

1.1 Participation in any Red Velvet Studios session, event, or production is voluntary.

1.2 You acknowledge that audio, video, photography, livestreaming, or other recording may occur at any time.

1.3 Your presence or participation confirms your awareness that media may be captured for public use.

2. Scope of Content, Locations & Formats

2.1 This Policy applies to content captured:

• In-studio, on location, at venues, or outdoors
• At events, performances, pop-ups, or showcases
• Behind the scenes or incidentally
• Remotely via digital communication
• Using any equipment operated by Red Velvet Studios

2.2 Covered formats include, but are not limited to:

• Audio and video recordings
• Interviews and performances
• Livestreams
• Photographs
• Social media clips, reels, and shorts
• Promotional edits and derivative works

2.3 This Policy applies whether you are a featured participant or appear incidentally (including background or audience appearances).

3. Contact Information & Address Verification

3.1 Individuals signing a Content Release Form must provide accurate contact information, including:

• Full legal name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Valid street address (including number, street, city, state, ZIP code)

3.2 City- or state-only entries are not sufficient.

3.3 Red Velvet Studios reserves the right to verify submitted information.

4. Consent to Be Recorded

4.1 You grant Red Velvet Studios and/or Joseph Brooks permission to record and use your:

• Voice
• Image and likeness
• Appearance, gestures, and performance
• Statements or interview responses

4.2 You consent to public use of such recordings.

5. Rights Granted to Red Velvet Studios

5.1 You grant Red Velvet Studios a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, edit, display, distribute, promote, and monetize your recorded content.

5.2 Content may be used across any media or platform, including:

• Social media
• Websites
• Promotional materials
• Podcasts and livestreams
• Advertisements
• Educational content
• Future technologies

5.3 Red Velvet Studios retains full creative discretion over if, when, and how content is released.

6. Posting, Publishing, Promotional Use & Event Media Rights

6.1 Red Velvet Studios reserves the unrestricted right to photograph, film, and record all individuals present at any event, including performers, attendees, guests, staff, and participants.

6.2 This includes capturing:

• Live performances
• Audience members and event attendees
• Behind-the-scenes content
• Interviews, interactions, and general event atmosphere

6.3 By attending or participating in any Red Velvet Studios event, you grant Red Velvet Studios a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your image, likeness, voice, performance, and presence in any captured media.

6.4 Red Velvet Studios may use, edit, reproduce, distribute, and publish this content anywhere and for any purpose, including:

• Social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Website and portfolio
• Marketing and promotional campaigns
• Advertisements and paid media
• Future platforms and formats

6.5 Red Velvet Studios has full creative control over how content is edited, presented, and distributed.

6.6 Red Velvet Studios reserves the right to credit itself and brand all content as part of its marketing, portfolio, and promotional efforts.

6.7 This applies whether you are:

• A featured performer
• An attendee or audience member
• Appearing in the background
• Interacting with the event in any capacity

6.8 You acknowledge that:

• Content may be used for marketing and promotional purposes
• Content may remain public indefinitely
• Red Velvet Studios is not obligated to remove or alter any published media

7. Ownership & Compensation

7.1 All content captured or produced by Red Velvet Studios is the exclusive property of Red Velvet Studios, including footage, audio, photographs, edits, and derivative works.

7.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• You do not own the content
• You have no control over editing or usage
• You are not entitled to compensation

7.3 Participation may be included in Red Velvet Studios’ portfolio, case studies, or promotional materials.

8. No Sale of Likeness & No AI Training Use

8.1 Red Velvet Studios does not sell, license, or transfer your image, likeness, or identity as a standalone asset to third parties.

8.2 Nothing in this Policy grants Red Velvet Studios ownership of your identity, name, likeness, or personal brand — only the rights to use captured media as outlined above.

8.3 Red Velvet Studios does not use your image, voice, or likeness for artificial intelligence training, machine learning datasets, or synthetic media generation systems.

8.4 Your likeness will only be used in connection with real content created, produced, or distributed by Red Velvet Studios for creative, promotional, or business purposes.

9. No Right to Removal

9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive the right to request deletion, removal, modification, or control of published content.

9.2 Takedown or alteration requests are not guaranteed once content is released.

10. Legal Waiver & Governing Law

10.1 This Policy is a legally binding media release agreement.

10.2 You release Red Velvet Studios and Joseph Brooks from claims related to:

• Recording
• Editing
• Distribution
• Monetization
• Privacy
• Publicity
• Reputational impact

(Except where content is knowingly falsified.)

10.3 This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California.

10.4 Any disputes must be brought in Los Angeles County, California, unless prohibited by law.

11. Age, Capacity & Acceptance

11.1 You confirm that you are 18 years or older, or have parent/guardian consent.

11.2 Your participation or presence constitutes acceptance of this Policy.

11.3 Consent is intended to be permanent, except where revocation is required by law.

12. Automatic Application

This Policy applies to all individuals present at any Red Velvet Studios activity where content is being captured.

Presence in a recorded space constitutes agreement to this Policy.
