How does Red Velvet Studios decide which artists to work with?
We believe in being intentional about our roster and the relationships that we build with artists. We can provide each artist with personalized attention and long-term support.
We also look for artists who are prepared to invest in their own growth. Building a successful career requires time, effort, and financial investment, so applicants should have a realistic budget for the services and opportunities they're pursuing.
Every submission is reviewed individually to determine whether we're the right fit for each other. If we're not the best fit today, we'll often recommend other services or next steps that may better support your current stage of development.

Whether you're recording your next release, growing your audience, or looking for long-term career support, our goal is to provide the professional guidance and creative resources to help move your career forward.

How much is studio time?
Studio time starts at $100 per hour, with block rates available for longer sessions. All sessions require a 2-hour minimum and include a professional in-house engineer.
Pricing may vary depending on the studio location you choose. To confirm your session, you’ll need to select a date and submit payment in advance, which officially secures your booking.
Our engineers are also available to record and engineer sessions at a studio of your choice. In this case, you will be responsible for both the engineer’s rate and the separate studio rental fee.
Do I need to live in LA for us to work together?
We offer both in-person and remote services to support artists wherever they are. Our in-person sessions are available locally in Los Angeles, while our virtual services allow us to work with clients from anywhere in the world. Whether you’re based in LA or not, we’re able to deliver high-quality, tailored projects through a smooth and efficient process.
