How does Red Velvet Studios decide which artists to work with?

We review all submissions and carefully determine if your music is a good fit with our team.

We evaluate each artist based on their talent and overall potential for growth.

Artists must also have a budget to invest in their career for us to consider collaboration.

This process determines whether an artist earns a place on our roster — we only work with artists we truly believe in and see potential to grow with.

If accepted, we’ll recommend specific services that align with your goals.

What are your prices?

General pricing is available HERE

How many recording rooms and booths are available?

We have one fully treated recording room — there’s no separate isolation booth. The entire space is acoustically treated, so the vocalist records directly in the control room, allowing for a more natural and connected recording experience.

What is the acoustic treatment like?

The studio is completely treated from floor to ceiling with Auralex sound panels, bass traps, acoustic clouds, and diffusion panels. We’ve also added velvet-textured sound curtains, which not only enhance sound control but also give the studio a luxurious and cozy feel.

The overall sound of the room is fairly dead, providing a clean, controlled acoustic environment that’s ideal for vocal recording and precision mixing.

Do you have a live room for full bands or large setups?

No — we specialize in smaller, more focused sessions and don’t accommodate full bands or large group setups.

However, if you need to work on a larger project, you can still book one of our engineers or producers to work with you at another studio. You’d just pay their regular engineer rate and book the external space separately.

Is an engineer included in the booking?

Yes — every session includes a professional engineer who assists with setup, recording, and overall session flow.

How much is studio time?

Studio time is $60 per hour, with discounted block rates available for longer sessions.

We require a minimum of 2 hours per booking.

To confirm your session, you’ll need to set the date and send payment in advance — this officially secures your spot on the schedule.

Where can I hear examples of your work?

You can listen to a few samples of our productions and mixes on the Listen” page of our website.

What is your policy regarding deposits?

Deposits are required to secure your booking — just like a reservation. All deposits are non-refundable but may be applied toward a future session if enough notice is given. To reschedule, you must contact us at least 72 hours in advance.

If you cancel last minute, don’t show up, or fail to communicate, the deposit will be forfeited in full. Your deposit holds studio time, staff, and preparation, so when proper notice isn’t given, the payment is kept to cover that reserved time.
