Where is the event located?
We host our events at a variety of venues and spaces across Los Angeles to keep each experience fresh and unique. Because of this, the location may vary from show to show. Full detailsβincluding date, time, and venueβwill be shared with you as soon as they are confirmed.
What type of event is this?
Meet the Music (presented by Red Velvet Studios) is a curated a lineup of talented artists for our upcoming live music showcases in Los Angeles β featuring performances, creative networking, and a community of artists, producers, and tastemakers.
This form helps us get to know who you are as an artist β your sound, your style, and what you do. It gives us a profile to keep on file so we can reach out when weβre curating future lineups.
When will I hear from you?
You will hear from us if you have been selected to perform.
Even if youβre not selected for the next event, donβt worry β weβll keep your info on file for future showcases and creative networking opportunities.
Weβll be organizing events throughout the year, so there will be plenty of chances to get involved. Some of our events will also include open-mic portions, where we call up artists from our sign-up list to perform live on the spot β so itβs best to sign up, stay updated, and be ready when your name gets called.
What happens if I donβt meet the ticket requirement?
Artists are required to sell a minimum of 10 tickets in advance. If they do not reach this number, they are responsible for purchasing any remaining tickets needed to meet the 10-ticket requirement in order to perform.
How does this work?
Our team personally reviews each submission, listens to your music, and gets a feel for your style to see if itβs something weβd like to include in one of our upcoming showcases.
We curate each lineup based on fit, vibe, and overall quality, selecting artists we believe will bring great energy and artistry to the event.
Are artists expected to sell tickets?
We believe the best events are a team effort, so we ask every performer to help spread the word alongside us! Promoting the event not only boosts turnout but also supports your set and makes the night more memorable for everyone involved.
Hereβs what weβd love for you to do:
- Post at least 1β2 times on your social media about the event (reels, videos, storiesβwhatever fits your style).
- Personally DM or message your fans and followers, encouraging them to come out and support.
- Invite at least 50 people from your networkβfriends, family, supportersβto ensure we build a great crowd together. (selling at least 15 tickets)
- Share or hand out flyers, and feel free to add your own personal touch or message when promoting.
Weβll be promoting heavily on our end tooβthis is a joint effort to make sure we pack the room and give every artist the audience they deserve. Let's work together to make this night a success!
