Our Approach to Artist Management
Red Velvet Studios is a Los Angeles-based artist development agency and management company for serious independent artists.
We help artists develop their music, brand, audience, content, live performances, professional team, and overall career strategy.
Choose Your Management Plan
Our management structure includes both a monthly management fee and a commission percentage on applicable entertainment-related income.
We offer different management plans based on the level of support an artist needs. Each plan explains:
- What management services are included
- The monthly management fee
- The commission percentage
- The responsibilities of the artist and management
- Additional services or expenses
- The terms of the agreement
Artists can review the available plans and choose the option that best fits their goals, needs, and budget.

How We Work Together
We believe an artist’s career should be run like a business.
The artist is the CEO. You bring the creative vision, music, identity, and goals.
Red Velvet Studios acts as the COO. We help develop the strategy, organize the business, build the team, create opportunities, and keep the career moving forward.
The artist and management work together to make important career decisions and execute a long-term plan.
Who This Is For
Our management plans are designed for artists who:
- Want to make music their career
- Are open to professional guidance and feedback
- Communicate consistently
- Are willing to take action
- Write, record, rehearse, perform, and create content regularly
- Are prepared to invest financially in their growth
- Can commit to at least one year of management
This program is not intended for artists who treat music as a casual hobby.
Fees, Commission, and Artist Expenses
Our management structure includes:
- A monthly management fee based on the plan selected
- A commission percentage on applicable entertainment-related income
Commissionable income may include:
- Streaming revenue and music sales
- Merchandise
- Sync licensing
- Brand partnerships and sponsorships
- Influencer and social media opportunities
- Other entertainment-related income
The monthly management fee covers the ongoing management support included in the artist’s selected plan. The commission compensates management for its participation in developing, overseeing, negotiating, and growing the artist’s career and income opportunities.
Management fees do not cover every expense involved in developing an artist’s career.
Artists are responsible for funding expenses such as recording, music production, mixing and mastering, content creation, marketing, rehearsals, travel, and live events. Some professional services may be available through Red Velvet Studios for an additional fee.
Red Velvet Studios is not a record label. We do not provide advances or finance an artist’s career.
