Client Availability The Client is responsible for maintaining adequate availability and scheduling flexibility in order to participate in recording sessions, meetings, revisions, and any other work required to complete the project.
Scheduling Responsibility The Client is responsible for contacting Red Velvet Studios to schedule sessions and coordinate availability. It is not the responsibility of Red Velvet Studios to repeatedly contact or remind the Client to schedule sessions.
Active Participation The Client agrees to remain actively involved in the project by attending scheduled sessions, responding to communications in a timely manner, and participating in the creative and production process as needed to move the project forward.
Session Attendance The Client is responsible for attending all scheduled sessions at the agreed time. Repeated failure to attend scheduled sessions, late arrivals, cancellations, or failure to schedule sessions may delay the project and affect the completion timeline.
Decision Making Responsibility The Client acknowledges that many aspects of the project require timely decisions from the Client, including but not limited to creative direction, approvals, revisions, scheduling, and release planning. Delays in communication or decision making by the Client may delay or prevent the completion of the project.
Project Timeline and Deadlines If the Client agrees to or signs a project timeline, production schedule, or deadline, the Client is responsible for cooperating and maintaining availability in order to meet those deadlines. The Client understands that failure to participate, attend sessions, or provide required materials may prevent deadlines from being met.
Communication The Client must maintain reasonable communication with Red Velvet Studios regarding scheduling, creative decisions, approvals, and project progress throughout the duration of the project.
Deposit Validity and Client Inactivity If a Client pays a deposit to begin a project, that deposit secures the project and applies to work performed within six (6) months of signing the agreement or paying the deposit. If the Client fails to schedule sessions, attend sessions, or otherwise participate in the project for a period of six (6) months, the Client may be considered inactive.
Loss of Project Due to Inactivity If the Client becomes inactive for six (6) months after signing the agreement or paying a deposit, Red Velvet Studios reserves the right to terminate the project, cancel the agreement, and release any reserved time or resources associated with the project. In such cases, the Client cannot expect the original project terms, contract, or deal to remain valid.
Project Cancellation Due to Client Non-Participation
If the Client fails to maintain communication, does not schedule sessions, repeatedly misses sessions, fails to make required decisions, or otherwise does not actively participate in the project, Red Velvet Studios reserves the right to suspend, postpone, or cancel the project at its sole discretion. Any deposits or payments made remain subject to the terms of the agreement and may be non-refundable.
