Revisions Policy

To maintain an efficient workflow and ensure timely completion of projects, the following revision policy applies to all production services provided by Joseph Brooks and Red Velvet Studios.

1. Included Revisions
Each project includes up to two (2) revision rounds. These revisions may include reasonable change requests related to music production, arrangement, mixing, mastering, vocal editing, and vocal tuning.

2. Definition of a Revision
A revision is defined as a set of requested changes submitted by the Client after a draft, mix, or version of the project has been delivered. Multiple change requests submitted together at the same time will be considered one revision round.

3. Client Responsibility for Feedback
The Client is responsible for reviewing each version carefully and communicating all requested adjustments during the included revision rounds. Any changes, corrections, or creative adjustments the Client wishes to make should be clearly expressed within the first revision rounds so they can be addressed efficiently.

4. Additional Revisions
Any revision requests beyond the two (2) included revision rounds will incur an additional revision fee. Each additional revision will be billed separately at the studio’s current revision rate.

5. Scope of Revisions
Revisions are intended for minor adjustments or refinements to an existing version of the project. Requests that significantly alter the arrangement, structure, instrumentation, or creative direction of the project may be considered new production work and may require a separate agreement or additional production fees.

6. No Unlimited Revisions
Red Velvet Studios does not provide unlimited revisions. Clients should communicate their desired changes within the included revision rounds. Ongoing or repeated change requests beyond the included revisions will be treated as additional revisions and billed accordingly.

7. Submission of Revision Requests
Clients are encouraged to review drafts carefully and submit revision notes in a clear and organized list so all requested changes can be addressed efficiently within each revision round.

8. Payment and Delivery of Project Files
Requests for additional revisions do not permit the Client to delay or withhold payment for completed work. Any remaining balance owed for the project must be paid according to the agreed payment terms regardless of whether the Client wishes to request additional revisions beyond those included in the project.

All outstanding balances must be paid in full before final project materials are delivered. This includes, but is not limited to, final mixes, masters, stems, session files, project files, or any other production assets created during the course of the project.

If the Client wishes to make further adjustments after the included revision rounds have been used, additional revisions may be requested and will be billed at the studio’s current revision rate. Alternatively, once the project has been completed and all outstanding payments have been made, the Client may receive the applicable stems or session files and may choose to make additional changes independently or through another engineer or producer.

Under no circumstances may a Client withhold payment due to dissatisfaction arising from requests for additional revisions beyond those included in the project.

9. Policy Applicability

This revisions policy applies to all clients, artists, and projects working with Joseph Brooks or Red Velvet Studios. This policy remains in effect regardless of whether it is explicitly written within an individual client’s contract or agreement. All clients are subject to these revision limitations and terms when requesting production changes.

By working with Joseph Brooks or Red Velvet Studios, the Client acknowledges and agrees to this revisions policy.
