Our Management Approach
At Red Velvet Studios, we provide personal artist management: hands-on support for both the day-to-day business and the big picture of an artist's career. We help artists make decisions, organize opportunities, plan releases, coordinate projects, communicate with industry professionals, and build the right team. The artist remains in control while the manager serves as their primary advisor, helping turn their vision into a clear, professional plan.
You tell us about yourself, your music, and your goals, and select the management plan that fits where you are in your career.
Once signed, our team becomes your point of contact for business, booking, and collaboration inquiries, and works with you on strategy and release planning.

Basic Management supports incoming booking inquiries and performance opportunities. Pro Management also includes artist activations, showcases, and hands-on live performance opportunities for Los Angeles-based artists.

Having clear expectations about when different milestones may happen is important when building a music career. Some goals can be developed within the first year, while larger achievements require years of consistent work, growth, and long-term planning.

Music careers are built over time. These milestones should be viewed as long-term goals that help artists understand what to focus on now and what they may work toward as their career develops.
Our standard artist management agreements require a monthly management retainer plus commission and a signed management contract.
We primarily work with independent and developing artists who are still building their careers and revenue. At this stage, commission alone typically does not provide a sustainable structure for the level of time, strategy, representation, and ongoing support involved in professional management.
Examples of artists who may be eligible for a commission-only structure include artists who currently generate more than $75,000 per year in entertainment- or music-related income, artists currently signed to a major record label, or artists with more than 100,000 monthly listeners. Commission-only arrangements are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
All other independent and developing artists are eligible only for our monthly retainer plus commission arrangements.
