Velvt Terms of Service

These Terms apply to Velvt, the music community operated by Red Velvet Studios, including its website, accounts, profiles, discovery, messaging, groups, media and Velvt Pro. Separate artist-management agreements, event terms, studio bookings and other Red Velvet Studios services remain subject to their own purchase terms or signed agreements.
Using Velvt
Read these Terms and the linked policies before creating an account or sharing content. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the member services. We present Community Guidelines acceptance during profile setup. A record of accepting those guidelines is not a claim that you separately accepted every later policy update.
Velvt is a community service for music discovery and collaboration. A connection, profile, badge or message is not a guarantee of identity, professional qualifications, employment, payment, representation or a successful collaboration.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to maintain a Velvt account. Provide accurate account information, use a username you are entitled to use, and do not impersonate another person or organization. A band or business account must be managed by someone authorized to act for it. Keep your email account and sign-in codes secure. Never share a sign-in code with another member or anyone claiming to be support.
You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not create replacement accounts to evade a ban.
Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the music, recordings, images, videos, text and other content you submit. You are responsible for obtaining the rights and permissions needed to share it, including permissions from collaborators and people depicted. Uploading music does not transfer your copyright to Velvt and does not create a record-label, publishing or management agreement.
By submitting content, you give Red Velvet Studios a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to host, store, process, format, transmit and display that content as needed to operate Velvt, provide the visibility you select, deliver requested sharing features, investigate reports and maintain the service. Service providers may process it for those purposes. This permission does not authorize unrelated commercial exploitation of your music. Retention and removal follow our Privacy and Account Deletion policies and applicable law.
Public profiles and private communications
Profile names, usernames, biographies, city, links and shared profile media may be publicly accessible, including to people without an account. Do not put information on your profile that you do not want others to see. Public media links and copies made by other people may remain outside our control.
Messages are intended for their participants, but are not represented as end-to-end encrypted. Authorized personnel and service providers may access information when needed for support, safety, abuse investigations, legal obligations or service operation. Recipients can copy or share what you send.
Community conduct and safety
The Community Guidelines and Child Safety Standards apply to all profiles, messages, groups and media. Harassment, threats, hate, scams, impersonation, child exploitation, nonconsensual intimate material, pornography, unlawful activity, copyright infringement and attempts to bypass security are prohibited.
Do not scrape personal information, send bulk unsolicited messages, distribute malware, interfere with the service or bypass another person’s blocking or privacy choices. Use report and blocking controls where available. Reports can also be sent to support.
Collaborations and outside transactions
Members are responsible for their own agreements about fees, credits, royalties, ownership, delivery and cancellation. Put collaboration terms in writing before sharing unreleased work or paying another person. Velvt is not a party to member-to-member agreements unless Red Velvet Studios separately agrees in writing. External links and embedded music are governed by the relevant provider’s terms and privacy practices.
Free accounts and Velvt Pro
Free accounts include the features and media allowance displayed in Velvt. Pro adds the allowance and badge described on its plan page. Features and limits are not a promise of increased exposure, work opportunities or earnings. The Velvt Pro Subscription and Refund Policy explains billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds. The price and purchase terms shown at checkout apply to your purchase.
Do not buy duplicate subscriptions for the same account. Artist management, studio time, event tickets and other paid music services are separate purchases.
Moderation and account restrictions
We may review reports and restrict, remove or disable content or accounts that violate these Terms, create safety or security risks, infringe rights or must be restricted by law. We may take urgent action without advance notice when needed to protect people or the service. Moderation may involve human review and available filtering tools; no filter detects every violation.
You may ask support to review a moderation decision. Include your username, the decision and why you believe it was incorrect. Do not include harmful media when a link or description is sufficient. Some official accounts currently have blocking protection; they remain subject to reporting and these conduct rules.
Closing an account and data requests
The current Settings option closes community access and releases the username while retaining associated content for administrator access. It is not automatic permanent erasure. To request permanent deletion, follow the Account Deletion and Data Requests instructions. Closing an account does not automatically cancel a subscription or erase separate purchase records.
Availability and limits
We work to maintain Velvt, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, preservation of every upload, or the accuracy or conduct of other members. Keep independent copies of important work. The service is provided as available, subject to rights and protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change. We will update the date and provide notice of material changes through the service or other appropriate means. Additional acceptance will be requested where required. Changes do not remove nonwaivable consumer rights or retroactively replace express terms already agreed for a purchase.
