Artax Records is a Los Angeles–based independent record label founded by Red Velvet Studios, focused on artist development through hands-on mentorship, management, and strategic guidance.
What We Look For in Artists
SOUND
We listen to every submission. You can submit a singing video, demo, finished song, or unfinished song — this is to showcase your voice, sound, potential, and overall talent.
BRAND
Social media links are required. We evaluate your brand, image, and overall presence alongside the music.
If your genre is not listed, it’s probably not a good fit for our label. Music we sign needs to be sung in English.
Hip-Hop/Rap, Jazz, Metal, Punk, Instrumental Music, World, Afrobeat, CCM/Christian/Religious Music, Gospel, Ska, Swing / Big Band Jazz, Classical / Film Score, Bands (we are not signing bands)

What is an Independent Record Label?
An independent record label (or “indie label”) releases and develops artists without being owned by a major label. Indie labels can still distribute music worldwide, but they typically operate with smaller teams, more flexibility, and hands-on artist development.
Can I submit a song that I’ve already released on streaming platforms or social media?
Yes. You can submit released or unreleased music. We’re focused on quality, fit, and potential.
Do you accept songs that use purchased beats or royalty-free instrumentals?
No. Artax Records does not accept downloaded, purchased, or royalty-free beats. Submissions must be original and created by you (and your collaborators, if applicable).
How should I send my demo? What format or link is best?
Send a working link that opens and plays (audio or video).
Do you respond to demo submissions?
Due to volume, we can’t respond to every submission. If it’s a fit, we’ll reach out.
Do you accept AI music or AI artists?
No. We do not accept AI music and do not want AI music submissions.
Do you provide artists with large cash advances?
No. We don’t provide cash/check advances to sign. Instead, we provide services without charging upfront (marketing, studio time, production, and more) and recoup through agreed splits.
