EVENT PARTNER REQUIREMENTS

Event partnerships are for people and brands who already have something of their own to bring — a product, company, or space.

Event Partners look like
• Brand or product owners
• Business or venue operators
• Creators wanting to showcase a product or service
• Individuals offering a home, pool, backyard, or storefront as a host space
• Brands looking to set up a booth/demonstration

We Provide:
All event planning, coordination, talent booking, and promotion through our brand and network. Lighting, video, or audio production crews — are already covered by our team.

You Provide:

A contribution — a product, space, or booth/demonstration that adds to the event experience.

Types of Events we are developing in collaboration with our event partners include, but are not limited to...

Open Mic Nights

These events give emerging artists a supportive space to perform original songs or covers live. Performers are chosen through submissions or raffles and typically perform one song—solo with guitar/piano or over a backing track. Each event is fresh and unpredictable, offering chances to gain stage experience, test new material, build a fanbase, and connect with other creatives. This guide highlights top open mic spots in Los Angeles where you can shine.

Industry Networking Mixers

Networking-focused gatherings designed to connect people in the music, entertainment, and creative industries.

This type of event involves background music playing as people chat and connect over food and drinks.

Establishing friendships and relationships with people who have shared interests/professions.

Artist Showcases

Highlighting a curated list of solo performers giving short live performances usually 1-3 songs per artist.

These showcases emphasize raw talent, live vocals, and intimate performances.

Pass the Aux/Listening Event

These teractive gatherings where attendees share and play music by literally “passing the aux cord” or queueing up songs.

Artists get the chance to play their demos or released tracks in front of everyone, sparking real-time reactions and conversation.

These events create a collaborative, discovery-based atmosphere that highlights independent artists, allows unreleased songs to be tested, and builds stronger connections through shared music experiences.

College Student Events

College students partner with Red Velvet Studios to bring music industry culture directly onto their campus.

Together, we collaborate to launch a student-led organization that hosts events, workshops, and mixers using school spaces and facilities.

Students take the lead in shaping the vision, while we provide mentorship, resources, and connections to artists and industry professionals.

This partnership can include Red Velvet Studios coming to campus to speak, mentor, give interviews, or co-host events in collaboration with student organizations and brands.

By working side by side, the student builds leadership and community, while Red Velvet Studios helps bridge the gap between campus life and the real world professional music industry.

Talent

We are directly connected to the music and entertainment community, with established contacts who can provide performers to entertain and put on live shows.

Being part of our events connects brands directly with LA’s creative scene — influencers, artists, and tastemakers who set trends. This exposure builds cultural credibility, sparks organic social buzz, and aligns the brand with authentic, creative experiences that drive long-term visibility and engagement.

Guest List

Creating a strong guest list is key to any successful event. We curate ours by inviting a mix of influencers, artists, entertainers, and LA’s cultural tastemakers — ensuring high energy, visibility, and the right crowd. This approach elevates the experience and maximizes exposure for our brand partners and collaborators.

We curate and invite LA’s top influencers, actors, entertainers, and cultural tastemakers to your event — the people who bring buzz. Their presence drives organic social posts, photos, and videos that amplify your brand across thousands of followers. This not only builds online visibility but also boosts your credibility, making your event feel exclusive, relevant, and culturally connected.

What does Partnership mean?

A true partnership means working together so both sides gain value.

It’s about creating opportunities that benefit everyone involved.

Part of the problem in LA is the
"pay to play" culture and the barriers to entry that make community
building difficult.

Types of Partnerships

Revenue Share & Ticket Sales – Instead of fixed costs, profits are shared fairly based on results and attendance.

Brand Booth/Table/Pop Up Shops - Provide demonstrations, samples, and sell your products at our event

Marketing & Promotion – Both partners gain exposure through co-branding, social media, and community reach.

Production & Experiences – We bring sound, talent, MCs, creative content, and promotion that elevate the event, while partners gain visibility and new customers.

Long-Term Collaboration – Each event strengthens the relationship, building momentum for future opportunities.

Partnership is NOT as simple as "looking for space for rent"
(such as peerspace).

Partnership is about combining resources, audiences, and creativity
so that both sides win.

Ticketed Events

Community Host – May host either free or ticketed events but doesn’t require any payment or revenue share — their support helps make the event possible.

Venue Partner – For paid or ticketed events, venues may take a share of ticket sales instead of an upfront rental fee, ensuring both sides benefit from the event’s success.

This model creates a mutually beneficial partnership: the event draws in new customers and visibility for the venue, while the venue gains from increased sales and exposure to a broader audience. There are no upfront fees — instead, profits are shared based on the event’s results.

Community Host

Individuals/Business that volunteer space (home, apartment, backyard, etc) to be able to be used for an event free of charge.

Helps the music community have a fun time and supports local artists.
