At Red Velvet Studios, we’re building something special — a creative hub where music, artistry, and community come together. We’ve received an incredible number of submissions from artists across Los Angeles and beyond, and we want to take a moment to explain how our events work and what to expect after you apply.
When you submit through our official Artist Submission Form, your information and music are reviewed carefully by our team. While the form may include specific event dates, please note that submitting does not guarantee a performance slot for those dates — or any event in particular.
Our showcases are curated experiences, and we hand-select artists whose sound, energy, and style best fit each lineup. Every submission we receive is appreciated and kept on file for future events and opportunities that might be a better fit later on.
Once your submission is received, you’ll get a confirmation email letting you know we’ve got it — that’s your acknowledgment that you’re officially in our system. From there, our team listens to every submission, and we’ll reach out directly if we’d like to include you in an upcoming lineup.
Please note: we respond to everyone confirming receipt, but only selected artists will be contacted regarding performance opportunities.
Even if you aren’t chosen for the curated performance lineup, your opportunity may still come — but only if you show up. Some of our events will include open-mic segments or name-draw chances, where attending artists can be selected on the spot to perform live that night.
If you weren’t officially selected or contacted to be on the set list, that doesn’t mean you should sit this one out. We strongly encourage you to attend, support the other performers, and connect with fellow artists, producers, and industry creatives. Purchasing a ticket helps us continue hosting these kinds of events — and showing up prepared could pay off, because you never know when your name might be called.
You won’t get the opportunity if you don’t go — so come ready, be present, and let the night work its magic.
All of our events are more than just showcases — they’re networking and entertainment industry mixers. You’ll meet producers, managers, artists, photographers, influencers, and other creatives who share your same drive and passion.
Even if you’re not the one on stage, showing up to our events is a chance to connect, collaborate, and grow within LA’s creative scene. You never know who you might meet — or where those conversations could lead.
Every submission remains active in our system for future consideration. As we continue to host more events, brand collaborations, and artist opportunities, we revisit past submissions regularly.
